About the program

180 credits

You can pursue the Bachelor’s degree in Oral Health Care in both Flanders and Wallonia. The program is offered at the following four institutions:

– Artevelde University College – Kantienberg Campus
– HELB – Free University of Brussels
– HEPL – Higher Education School of the Province of Liège
– UC Leuven-Limburg – Gasthuisberg Campus

The program is structured around three main areas of study:
– Oral Health: Prevention and Care
– Quality and Innovation
– Communication and Organization

The first year focuses on theoretical courses and the development of practical skills. The second year centers on clinical practice. Finally, the third year is entirely devoted to the profession and professional practice.

Expect an average of 20 hours of class time per week. In addition, you’ll have assignments and exercises to complete outside of class, you’ll need to study the course material, and you’ll have to prepare for classes…
All told, you’ll be investing about 40 to 45 hours per week in the program.

As with any bachelor’s program, you’ll complete your studies by writing a bachelor’s thesis and completing a graduation internship.

For more information about the curriculum and its content, please visit the websites of the various colleges.
